Derek Prue
President (Derek@sky-rider.ca)
Derek created SkyRider Holdings Ltd. (DBA, SkyRider Developments) in 2005 with a mission to challenge the traditional development industry. He mastered the technique of aggressively adapting to diverse opportunities while employing and promoting new standards for corporations. Through these accomplishments Derek has not only increased SkyRider's profit stance in the industry, but also those of involved partners. Derek believes that by creating unconventional and unique partnerships everyone involved can benefit and positively advance their careers and areas of influence. These partnerships consist of joint ventures with contractors, municipalities, investors and even employees. By implementing a business model that continually focuses on quality, location and price, Derek has created a business that can be successful in any financial environment. Derek Prue holds an Executive MBA (Masters of Business Administration), Advanced GDM (Graduate Degree in Management), and is currently pursuing his doctorate in Business Administration. Derek is also the recipient of the 2010 Athabasca University Rising Star Award, winner of Fastest Growing Company Under 20 Million for Alberta Venture 2008, official nominee for Ernst & Young for Entrepreneur of the year 2009, and 2009 Avenue Magazine Edmonton Top 40 Under 40 Entrepreneur.

Interesting Tidbit: Derek at age 38 still coaches and plays hockey at an elite level!

Shanel Prue
Marketing and Sales Director (Shanel@sky-rider.ca)
Shanel has a Bachelor Degree in Marketing and a Minor in Business Computer Informational Systems from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. She has been involved in the marketing sector since 2000 and a part of SkyRider since 2007. Shanel is also a licensed real estate associate with Stratosphere Realty Group Inc, and although marketing is her true ambition she takes on an abundance of other responsibilities including dealing with municipalities and county offices, developing projects from step one, subdivisions, financials, as well as public and human relations.

Interesting Tidbit: Shanel was a wrestler for 9 years placing 2nd in the Minnesota State Tournament in Freestyle.

Amy Morin

Jonathan Wilsdon
Project Manager (Jonathan@sky-rider.ca)
Jonathan has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Northern British Columbia and is currently enrolled in the Diploma of Urban land Economics program through the Sauder School of Business (UBC). Jonathan has experience in project management, construction and project progress administration. He has relocated from Vancouver Island to become a part of the SkyRider team!

Interesting Tidbit: Jonathan is an accomplished surfer having refined his skills on the swells of the Pacific.

Gabriel Lee
VP Finance
Prior to joining SkyRider Developments, Gabriel enjoyed a long and distinguished career in the Financial Services Industry. After graduating from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, Gabriel joined one of the largest Canadian Bank Owned Investment Dealer and in his 15 year tenure, became a Director of the firm. In 2004, he accepted an offer to become an Equity Partner and First Vice President at a Privately Owned boutique Investment Firm.

Gabriel has extensive experience with both Private and Public Organizations, having served on the boards of both domestic and international companies. Over the years, he has not only garnered expertise with traditional investment vehicles but has also developed a wealth of knowledge in the areas of Private Equity, Hedge Funds, and Real Estate Investments. The captivating opportunities available in Real Estate Development, along with the uniquely talented team of SkyRider proved to be a perfect fit for Gabriel.

Interesting Tidbit: In 1997, Gabriel became one of the first handful of Canadians to earn the designation of Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) from the Wharton School of Business in Pennsylvania.

Dave Miller
Construction Superintendent
Dave Miller brings with him over 20 years of extensive experience in the arena of construction and project management. His expertise spans the scope of residential as well as commercial developments. Dave has overseen the successful completion of thousands of Real Estate projects, literally from the ground up.

As a successful entrepreneur, Dave has built and operated successful businesses, with a specific emphasis on Concrete Foundation and ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) applications.

Interesting Tidbit: Dave owns a patent to an ingenious deck leveling appliance called "Deck Saver™". It is sold throughout North America and is used to adjust deck heights quickly and cost effectively.
